Guia de los Organismos Comunes de las Aguas Dulces de Costa Rica
This Guide to the Common Freshwater Organisms of Costa Rica was one of the first publications for the general public in Costa Rica about freshwater organisms, from plants to mammals and everything in between. It was developed and produced by the Oficina de Manejo Ambiental or OMA (Environmental Management Office), as part of the USAID’s Northern Zone Consolidation Project in northern Costa Rica. It was provided free of charge to about 300 educators in the region as part of 250 or so school libraries that the OMA gave away to all of the local elementary schools and high schools. It is only available as a PDF and can be downloaded at the link below.
